Homeschool parent who teaches his kids Asian American history

Hsin-Fu “Sinker” Wu was born and raised in Taiwan, and had lived in Indonesia before immigrating to the United States of America. Sinker served a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, during which he traveled and lived extensively in the Pacific region. He served as a translator and interpreter for official delegations, advised U.S. military on international relations, maritime security cooperation, and foreign language and cultural awareness. Additionally, he assisted the U.S. Navy in recruiting efforts among Asian American communities.  Now he enjoys model rockets, lightsaber duels, and gourmet cooking. For work, Sinker performs operations research for business development and customer engagement.
