Hi! We are Essie and Hsin-Fu Wu. We have been educating ourselves about Asian American History so we can teach it to our kids, and we decided to share what have learned! We made a guide to using children's literature to introduce kids grades 1st-6th to the story of Chinese in America. Eventually we would like to work with other Asian American partners to have a guide to all of Asian American history for kids.

    Emilia Batchelor is a Chinese American illustrator & graphic designer. She received her BFA in Illustration at Parsons School of Design.
    Much of her work seeks to better understand how the human experience can be a shared one. She uses warm color palettes to create playful compositions, incorporating abstract patterns and hand lettering.

    Hannah Montague, an independent artist out of Arizona, always enjoys working on new and fascinating projects. With a background in Illustration and Graphic Design, a heart for education, and a fortunate connection, she was excited to leverage her skills for Resilient Panda.
